Goalkeeper Noah Atubolu has extended his contract at SC Freiburg. The 19-year-old will complete Freiburg's goalkeeping trio alongside Mark Flekken and Benjamin Uphoff in the upcoming season.
The Freiburg native has been at the club since U14 level and made his debut in the second team last season. He played 25 games for the U23s as the team won promotion to the 3. Liga. He also earned one cap for the Germany U19 national team.
"Noah has made great progress thanks to his determination and has earned this step through consistently strong performances in the U23s. We are pleased that we can continue to have him develop optimally in the first team squad alongside the chance of match practice in the 3. Liga," said chief sporting officer Jochen Saier.
"It makes me proud that my journey at SC Freiburg has led me from the U14s to the professional level and I will work hard to ensure that my development continues here," said Noah Atubolu
The parties have agreed not to disclose details of the contract.
