Kiliann Sildillia joined SC from FC Metz in 2020 and was promoted to the 3. Liga with the U23s. He made his Bundesliga debut in October 2021 in a home game against Leipzig. Since then, the 20-year-old has played 41 competitive games in a Freiburg shirt in the Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal and Europa League.

“With his quality, patience and humility, Kiliann has earned a settled place in our team. It is nice to see that these attributes can continue to lead us to our goals,” said sporting director Klemens Hartenbach. “His strength in duels, practical nature and flexibility really set him apart. Now, we will work together to continue his development further.”

Kiliann Sildillia himself said: “When I joined Freiburg from Metz, we had a plan together. This plan has worked out in every aspect. Now, I want to further improve my game and work together with the boys at the highest level possible.”
