Senior international fixture in Freiburg

The men’s national team will play a home game at Freiburg’s Europa-Park Stadion for the first time later this year. Julian Nagelsmann's side are set to take on Bosnia & Herzegovina in the UEFA Nations League on Saturday 16th November.

The Germany national team face three home games in the UEFA Nations League group stages next season. The DFB has chosen Düsseldorf (match against Hungary on 7th September 2024), Munich (match against the Netherlands on 14th October 2024) and Freiburg (match against Bosnia & Herzegovina on 16th November 2024) as the locations for these three fixtures.

Oliver Leki, board member at SC Freiburg, said: “We’re pleased that an international fixture is set to be played at the Europa-Park Stadion for the first time three years after its opening. The many football fans in the region and the Germany national team can look forward to a great atmosphere in Freiburg – as is the case with SC’s home games in the Bundesliga or in Europe.”
