The German Football League (DFL) has announced the schedule for Matchdays 14 to 18. SCF will play on a Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday once more this year and twice at home on Saturday afternoon in the new year.

TSC Backa Topola are in town for matchday 4 of the Europa League group stage on Thursday night (21:00 CET). SC have the chance to secure a place in European competition after the winter break.

SC recovered from 3-1 down to earn a 3-3 draw at home against Borussia Mönchengladbach. Lucas Höler, Noah Weißhaupt and Vincenzo Grifo were all on the scoresheet for Freiburg.

SC's next home game in the Bundesliga takes place on Saturday, as they host Borussia Mönchengladbach at the Europa-Park Stadion (15:30 CET).

SC's run in the DFB-Pokal has come to an end in second round. SC lost 3-1 at home against SC Paderborn, with Maximilian Eggestein scoring Freiburg's only goal.

SC Freiburg are set to host SC Paderborn, who now count former SCF player Max Kruse in the ranks, in the second round of the DFB-Pokal at the Europa-Park Stadion on 1st November (18:00 CET).

SC Freiburg lost 2-1 to league leaders Bayer 04 Leverkusen following a committed performance on Sunday evening. SC’s consolation goal was scored by substitute Manuel Gulde (70’).

 Another busy week for SC Freiburg will end with an away game at Bayer 04 Leverkusen. The clash with the league leaders takes place on Sunday night at 17:30 CEST at the BayArena.

Despite trailing 1-0 at half time, SC Freiburg turned things around against TSC Backa Topola to win 3-1 in their Europa League group match, thanks to hat-trick hero Vincenzo Grifo (49’ (pen), 59’, 73’).

SC Freiburg host FK TSC Bačka Topola in the group stages of the Europa League on Thursday evening, with kick-off in Serbia set for 18:45 CEST.
