Our squad's international matches at a glance

Freiburg are playing across the world – and that isn’t just the case because of the Europa League, but also for the next international break. Twelve SC players have been called up to represent their nations: Vincenzo Grifo will be wearing the famous Azzurri colours once more after a one-and-a-half year absence, while Matthias Ginter dons a Germany kit for the first time in six months. Daniel-Kofi Kyereh joins the Ghana squad as they take on Brazil, and although Ritsu Doan has been called up for Japan, two games in Düsseldorf means he has the least amount of travelling to do.
