The team had previously chosen their captains​​​​​​​ during the training camp in Schruns, with Christian Günter, Maximilian Eggestein and Vincenzo Grifo being once again selected to don the armband. The new team council will be comprised of Philipp Treu, Mio Backhaus and Lukas Kübler. This will be the first time that Backhaus and Kübler have been part of the team council.

"It's a good mix and representative of our team," said Günter. "A couple of us are a bit older and have been with the team for a while, while some of the others will bring a new perspective and energy to the table. ‘I believe that this will enable us to represent our teammates’ interests effectively internally and present the team well to the outside world."
