Freiburg began their busy week with an impressive 3-0 win over VfL Bochum. Lukas Kübler gave SC the lead in the fifth minute, before a Roland Sallai brace (16', 53') gave the Freiburg fans an afternoon to remember.

SC Freiburg are set to host VfL Bochum at the Europa-Park Stadion on matchday 30 in the Bundesliga (Saturday, 15:30 CEST). The match will mark the start of a busy week for SCF, with three games in just seven days.

SC Freiburg were extremely clinical and also slightly fortunate to win 2-1 away at Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday. SC Freiburg have extended Nils Petersen's contract. The 33-year-old striker has been at the club since 2015 and has scored 99 goals in 231 competitive games.

The DFL have announced the final dates and times for this season’s games. SC will play all their fixtures from matchday 31 onwards on a Saturday, including a late kick-off at Hoffenheim (18:30 CEST).

SC Freiburg’s friendly with 1. FC Heidenheim ended in a 1-1 draw. Maurice Malone put the second-division side ahead in the 13th minte, four minutes before Lukas Kübler equalised for SCF.
