Germany U21 goalkeeper Mio Backhaus will join SC Freiburg from Werder Bremen ahead of the new season.

Nicolas Höfler, Maximilian Philipp and Kofi Kyereh will no longer be part of the first team at SC Freiburg from next season onwards. They’ve all left their mark on the club in various ways.
