Freiburg won their first competitive game of the season, reaching the second round of the DFB-Pokal in the process, after a 4-0 victory at VfL Osnabrück. Lucas Höler, Vincenzo Grifo and Junior Adamu’s brace provided the goals for SC.

SC get underway in the new 2024/25 season this coming Saturday with their first competitive game of the season in the DFB-Pokal against VfL Osnabrück (15:30 CEST).
