SC to play friendly fixture against SpVgg Greuther Fürth
As the summer training camp in Schruns draws to a close, Freiburg will take on SpVgg Greuther Fürth in a friendly affair.
It’s become tradition for SC Freiburg to cap off their pre-season training camp in Schruns with a friendly match before the players and staff head back to Breisgau. This year, SCF will test themselves against second-division side SpVgg Greuther Fürth. The meeting will consist of four 30-minute match segments. Kick-off is scheduled for 14:00 CEST on Friday, 31st July, at the Sportanlage Golm in Schruns.
The two sides previously met at the end of 2024’s summer training camp, with the friendly encounter finishing as a 2-2 draw. SpVgg finished last season in 16th place – the relegation play-off spot – and ended up defeating Rot-Weiss Essen 2-1 on aggregate to secure their 2. Bundesliga status for the 2026/27 season.
Tickets are available online or from 12:00 CEST on matchday at the box office. For everybody born in the year 2011 or later, entry is free of charge.
