SC Freiburg have arranged another pre-season friendly, this time at home against Hamburger SV on Saturday, 2nd August. The game will be played behind closed doors.
SC’s fourth match of pre-season will consist of two 70-minute halves. The game will kick off at 13:00 CEST and will either be played at the Europa Park-Stadion or the pitch next door depending on the weather. The two clubs have agreed to not broadcast a live stream of the game.
This friendly will be the penultimate game for both teams before the season properly starts with the first round of the DFB-Pokal. Hamburger SV will visit FK Pirmasens on 16th August, while SC play away at Sportfreunde Lotte that evening. The two teams’ first league meeting in 2025/26 will be on matchday 16 at the start of January in Freiburg.
SC’s final pre-season friendly will be against CA Osasuna on Saturday, 9th August as part of the season-opening day. That match will consist of three periods of 45 minutes and will kick off at 15:30 CEST. Festivities around the Europa Park-Stadion are set to begin at 11:00 CEST.
