Noah Weißhaupt goes out on loan to Legia Warsaw

Noah Weißhaupt will spend the remainder of the season on loan at Polish record champions and Conference League participants Legia Warsaw.

The midfielder had previously spent the second half of last season on loan at FC St. Pauli, scoring once in 19 Bundesliga games for the side. The 23-year-old featured for several of SC's youth sides before making his Bundesliga debut in 2021. Weißhaupt has featured in 78 competitive matches for Freiburg, scoring twice.

Legia Warsaw are Poland's record league and cup champions, and have Fredi Bobic as their head of football operations. The club are competing in the Conference League this season.
