Five Sunday fixtures for SC
The German Football League (DFL) revealed the schedule for Bundesliga matchdays 6 to 12 on Thursday afternoon. SC Freiburg will play five times on Sunday, with trips to Berlin and Munich falling on a Saturday,
Due to SC’s participation in the Europa League, our Bundesliga fixtures in the first half of the season will primarily take place on Sundays. That includes a reunion with Ritsu Doan, with Eintracht Frankfurt the visitors to the Europa-Park Stadion on Sunday, 19th October (15:30 CEST). A week earlier, Freiburg travel to face Borussia Mönchengladbach for a Sunday evening match (19:30 CEST). Our away game against Bayer Leverkusen will also take place on a Sunday, as will our home meetings with St. Pauli and Mainz 05.
Two away trips to fall on Saturdays, however, when the SC fans travel to Berlin and Munich in November.
