Date set for DFB-Pokal quarter-final in Berlin

The date of Freiburg’s quarter-final clash in the DFB-Pokal has been confirmed. SC will head to Berlin on 10th February 2026 for a knockout tie against Hertha BSC at the Olympiastadion. Kick-off is scheduled for 20:45 CET.

Freiburg will therefore return to the ground that marked a historic moment for the club three and a half years ago. SC made it to their first-ever Pokal final on 22nd May 2022, where they faced off against eventual victors RB Leipzig at the Olympiastadion.

On Sunday last week, Friedhelm Funkel drew the club to play away at second-division side Hertha in this year's quarter-final round, setting up a return to the Berlin club’s Olympiastadion.
