The Deutsche Fußball Liga (DFL) have announced the full list of fixtures for the 2025/26 Bundesliga season. SCF will begin their campaign with a home match against FC Augsburg. Freiburg will then travel to 1. FC Köln for their first away game.

SC will begin preparations for the new season with a public training session at the Europa-Park Stadion on Sunday, 6th July. After many more sessions, a training camp in Schruns, several friendlies and a DFB-Pokal first-round visit to Sportfreunde Lotte (16th August, 18:00 CEST), SCF will get their Bundesliga season underway – and the fixtures have now been confirmed. Freiburg will host FC Augsburg, and their new head coach Sandro Wagner, on the opening weekend of 23rd and 24th August.

The following week, head coach Julian Schuster’s side will visit promoted 1. FC Köln (29th-31st August). There will be an international break after the first two matchdays. SC’s season will then resume between 12th and 14th September with a Baden-Württemberg derby at home to VfB Stuttgart. The first half of the season will end after a midweek round of fixtures from 13th to 15th January, when SC will play away to RB Leipzig.

The second half of the campaign will begin with the away match against Augsburg between 16th and 18th January. The final game of the season will be at home to RB Leipzig on 16th May 2026.

The full set of fixtures will soon be listed on the SCF website. The DFL will confirm the exact timings of the matches in due course.
