DFB-Pokal first-round tie scheduled

The DFB announced the times and dates of the first-round fixtures in the 2025/26 DFB-Pokal on Wednesday.

The first round is set to be contested between 15th and 18th August, with SC travelling to face Sportfreunde Lotte on Saturday, 16th August (kick-off 18:00 CEST).

SC’s opponents finished the previous season in third place in the fourth division. Although Lotte lost 2-0 to DFB-Pokal finalists Arminia Bielefeld in the final of the Westphalia regional cup, they nevertheless qualified for the first round of Germany’s elite cup competition since Bielefeld had already been promoted to the second division.
