Burkart joins Winterthur on loan

SC Freiburg have agreed for Nishan Burkart to join Swiss first-division side FC Winterthur on loan. The 22-year-old has featured four times this season for the U23s.

The Swiss forward joined SC from Manchester United’s U23s in 2019 and made his Bundesliga debut for the Breisgau club in the 2021/22 season. He has played four games for the club’s reserves in the 3. Liga so far this term.

Burkart’s new club FC Winterthur sit ninth in the Swiss Super League after six matchdays.

The contractual details are undisclosed.
