As of 30th June 2025, the club’s equity had seen a significant increase due to the positive annual fiscal performance and was recorded on the balance sheet as €163.7 million (previous year: €151.9 million). The total worth of the club’s assets amounted to €197.9 million as of 30th June 2025 (previous year: €189.2 million). Furthermore, the club has no bank liabilities.
Oliver Leki, chief finance, organisation and marketing officer at SC Freiburg, said: “In comparison to previous years, last season we received no income from European competition and a notably lower income from transfers. The fact that we were nevertheless able to generate more than €160 million in revenue here at SC Freiburg and achieve an annual profit margin of over €10 million shows that our income and spending structure, as well as the cooperation between the sporting and financial departments, is strong, and that we are on the right track as a club.”
