SC Freiburg will continue to be kitted out by Nike and 11Teamsports in the coming years. The long-term partnership applies to the wear of the SC first team, as well as that of the academy sides (including U23s) and women and girls’ teams.
Nike and SC Freiburg will embark on a 12th season together this coming summer. The American manufacturer of sports equipment was previously SC’s kit make between 2009/10 and 2015/16 before a second collaboration, which included 11Teamsports, began for the 2021/22 campaign. This deal has now been extended for the 2025/26 season.
The sports brand will continue to produce SC Freiburg’s matchday and training kits for all of the club’s teams, along with fashion wear available in the Fanshop.
Detailed in the partnership, 11Teamsports is responsible for overseeing the fruition of partnership activities. The team sports specialist from Satteldorf in Baden-Württemberg is also responsible for product customisation. Their commitment furthermore encompasses various events such as presenting the season opening celebration ahead of the term’s first competitive fixture, along with promotional matchdays at the Europa-Park Stadion.
Ralf Fäßler, CEO at 11Teamsports: “SC Freiburg’s continued progress over the course of many years serves as a great example of sustainable growth and stability. The club possesses a great following throughout Germany and has developed into a big name, not only in the Bundesliga. Together with Nike, we look forward to many more years of joint collaboration and will continue to be a key partner in the future.”
Rolf Gramer, director of ProClubs at 11Teamsports, is pleased about the continued partnership with SC: “It always serves as a sign of respect and value when partnerships are extended ahead of time. For Nike and 11Teamsports, it is a real honour to be able to continue on this path with SC Freiburg and we are thankful for the constructive talks which have taken place, as well as the great deal of trust that has been shown.”
SC board member Oliver Leki: “We have now qualified for the Europa League for the third time in four years. Consistency is an important factor on the road to success and that applies in all departments. In Nike, we have the world’s largest manufacturer of sports equipment on our side, who not only offer an attractive range of products in terms of our everyday sporting gear, but also that for our fans in our Fanshop. We also continue to look to the expertise of 11Teamsports, the leading team sports specialist in Europe, for the implementation of activities and events. We are pleased to continue with this long-term, valued partnership in the coming years.”
