Starting the season away in Bielefeld

The Deutsche Fußball Liga (DFL) announced the fixture list for the 2021/22 Bundesliga season on Friday (25th June). SC Freiburg will open the season away against Arminia Bielefeld on the weekend of 14th-15h August. The club's first home game will be against Borussia Dortmund.
