SC Freiburg celebrated a comeback victory at home against SV Werder Bremen on matchday 28 in the Bundesliga. Roland Sallai (67’) and Lucas Höler (71’) scored in a 2-1 win.

SC Freiburg travel to face SV Werder Bremen on Sunday afternoon on matchday 28 in the Bundesliga (15:30 CEST).

Freiburg have been drawn against RB Leipzig in the semi-final of this year’s DFB-Pokal for a repeat of last year’s final. The draw was made at the German Football Museum in Dortmund on Sunday evening.

The quarterfinal of the DFB-Pokal saw SC Freiburg perform fantastically and, thanks to a 95th minute penalty from Lucas Höler, beat FC Bayern München 2-1 in Munich to qualify for the final four.

Defender Kiliann Sildillia has extended his contract at SC Freiburg.

SC Freiburg had to settle for a 1-1 draw against Hertha BSC, with the host’s goal courtesy of a 52nd-minute Vincenzo Grifo free kick.

SC will host Hertha BSC on matchday 26 at the Europa-Park Stadion. Kick off on Saturday is at 15:30 CEST.
