Dinkçi joins Werder Bremen on loan

SC Freiburg can confirm that attacker Eren Dinkçi has joined SV Werder Bremen on loan.

Eren Dinkçi spent the second half of last season on loan at 1. FC Heidenheim, scoring three goals in 14 Bundesliga appearances. The Bremen-born forward joined SC Freiburg in summer 2024 and has since made 36 competitive appearances for the club, scoring once.

The 24-year-old now returns on loan to the club where he came through the ranks. Dinkçi made his Bundesliga debut for Werder at the age of 19 and has scored once in 50 competitive appearances for the club. Werder Bremen will visit Freiburg on Sunday, 30th August on the first matchday of the new Bundesliga season.
