SC to play cup game at the Dreisamstadion

SC Freiburg will play their first round DFB-Pokal match against SV Oberachern at the Dreisamstadion on Sunday, 13th August (15:30 CEST). Oberachern will remain the home side.

SV Oberachern will be competing in the cup for the second time, having qualified after winning the South Baden Cup. Last season’s fixture against Borussia Mönchengladbach (9-1 loss) was also played at the Dreisamstadion, with around 14,000 fans in attendance.

Both sides are expecting tickets for the match to be in high demand. As a result, tickets will be made available in all stands, including the Osttribüne, which was last open for the Bundesliga game against FC Augsburg in September 2021.
